As a result of the company’s work in environmental matters, Virospack has obtained both the ISO14001 and EMAS environmental certifications, as a quality guarantee of our commitment and efforts to protect the environment.
However, apart from these certifications, our greatest achievement has undoubtedly been to raise awareness among our employees and see how they suggest daily improvements for sustainability in their jobs. The involvement of the entire Virospack team has been such that respect to the environment now forms part of our DNA. And that is the real victory, seeing the awareness in how each change that is implemented in the company is considered.
We have a well-defined Sustainability Policy as a guide for successfully meeting our goals. All our processes have environmental KPIs and Virospack monitors environmental indicators with the same level of attention as our production processes. In fact, every year we publish the EMAS declaration, which includes all of the company’s environmental conduct.
It has also changed our purchasing policy, as sustainability is now included in our supply chain as another factor to be considered.
