Manufacturers of cosmetic packaging since 1956

One of the unique features about Virospack is the combination of 4 manufacturing and 3 decoration processes all operated under one roof.

Knowledge and experience gained in these processes over the past 50 years gives Virospack a distinct advantage in terms of production flexibility and an unrivalled product range.

compression process

Compression

Ideal for short to medium sized production runs with low tooling costs and short development cycles.

The best technology to customize caps with the possibility to produce heavy, high quality pieces. Virospack currently has 18 workstations and is continuously renovating machinery.

injection moulding

Injection Moulding

The modern facility, equipped with 6 high tech machines belies the company's depth of experience in injection moulding. As well as conventional materials such as PP, SAN, PE and ABS, Virospack has extensive experience in moulding custom TPE bulbs, as well as several standard TPE bulbs. We experiment with different materials to achieve the correct technical and aesthetic finish.

rubber transformation

Rubber transformation

Rubber formulation and transformation was Virospack's core activity. Proprietary formulas, developed to suit demanding product applications, are mixed on site ensuring 100% control over the final component. These materials are then transformed into vulcanised components by seven modern rubber injection moulding machines.

The various product families are stoppers, bulbs and rubber massagers, manufactured with the most ideal materials (nitrile, butyl and natural rubber) for each case.

screen printing

Screen printing

A modern and well-equipped organic and vitrified screen printing department allows us to offer manual and fully automatic one, two and three-color screen-printing. The quality of the printing excels the needs of the most demanding customer.

Three automatic machines and six manual machines give Virospack a daily capacity of above 200.000 units.

spray painting

Spray painting

A purpose built electrostatic paint facility allows us to offer decorated glass in a range of opaque and translucent colours in both bright and matte finishes. This process and the fact that the paints used are water based, respects the paint industry regulations and not less importantly the environment.

More recently an aerograhphic spray painting line has been incorporated allowing us to produce any special effect on glass and plastic, from degradé to pearly finish, two or three coats with UV curing.

tubular glass

Tubular glass

Tubular glass offers an excellent strength to weight ration combined with an excellent level of clarity and dimensional stability. Virospack's glass transformation processing area ensures that components are transformed in ideal conditions to the highest manufacturing tolerances. This method of manufacturing is characterised by its flexibility in adapting height, axial diameter and neck thread. The use of neutral Glass Class 1 glass in transparent or amber guarantees the best finish.

Virospack has progressively invested in new flexible machines with vision control systems and versatile stations which can transform a wide range of diameters, with the possibility of producing both tubular glass vials and glass pipettes.

As well as the glass vial machines, Virospack has got horizontal glass machines specially designed for producing glass pipettes.

metalization process

Metalization

A metallization line was more recently incorporated to cater for the demand of high quality metallization. The line can produce around 150,000 pieces per day and is part of a very large investment by the company.

Quick and low cost tooling provides an excellent solution to customize the decoration of the droppers. Wide range of lacquers and finishes are available.

Assembly

Automisation of the assembly of droppers has been in place for a few years. With machines dedicated to classic and push button droppers capacity is around 30,000pcs per day per machine and can be supported by manual assembly.

On top of the automatic dropper assembly machines, three automatic gluing machines can assemble up to 180.000 units per day.
